David Xu is a Chartered Accountant with over 18 years of experience in New Zealand, bringing a diverse background and a strategic approach to client advisory. He began his academic journey with a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Zhejiang University in 2001 before relocating to New Zealand in 2002 to pursue accounting studies at the University of Waikato.

David spent nearly a decade working as an accountant and auditor with two Hamilton-based firms, gaining broad exposure across industries. He became a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) in 2010 and established his own Auckland practice in 2013. In 2025, his firm merged with Greenlane CA Limited, where he continues to contribute his extensive expertise.
